At the European level, obtaining a certification requires the involvement of a certification body; it is a totally manual process and takes approximately 8 weeks. While for carbon accounting, there are no completely free-of-charge solutions.

Climate Standard, with its audit app, can verify sustainability claims in a matter of days. The accounting app, on the other hand, allows auditing at no cost if one wants to use the free databases and at a much lower cost than building one's own calculation system based on paid databases, if one wants to use the latter.
