NADA transforms fruit side-streams into high-value cosmetic oils using proprietary CO₂ extraction technology and a farm-to-formula model that delivers traceable, circular and fossil-free ingredients.
€1 trillion
is lost each year through food loss and waste, representing around half of all fruits and vegetables. Meanwhile, the natural ingredients market is growing at approximately 15% CAGR.
The cosmetics industry faces three key challenges: quality inconsistency, unstable supply chains and lack of traceability in natural ingredients. Existing cold-press and solvent extraction approaches can also create inconsistent ingredient quality.
NADA uses supercritical CO₂ extraction to recover valuable compounds from fruit side-streams such as seeds and peels. Its model connects importers and packing houses with ingredient production, creating a traceable supply chain from the farm to the final cosmetic formulation.
25%
higher antioxidant content in NADA's MVP, Pomega-5 pomegranate seed oil, than the comparison oils shown in the deck. NADA's 10-year projection indicates approximately 11 million tonnes of mitigated CO₂e by year 10.
NADA gives value to fruit-processing side-streams by converting them into functional cosmetic ingredients rather than leaving them as waste. Its model also supports local sourcing and traceability, while its CO₂ extraction process avoids conventional solvent-based extraction.
25% higher antioxidant content for Pomega-5; the ingredient can be used in 500+ cosmetic products. NADA's business model targets premium ingredients at approximately €75/L with >75% gross margin.
